I wanted to understand her process and more importantly I wanted to get to know the girl behind the photos and the lens. I reached out via Instagram and she reached back. We made a connection and quickly realized this one was bigger than social media. Fast forward one week and here we are... like old friends who never missed a beat. Sometimes you just know. I didn’t have to meet Michelle first in order to feel comfortable arranging a trip to come play with her. I could feel her energy from her images and her soul through her words. We had one brief phone conversation, a couple texts and emails and the next thing I know I’m in her playground. She took off work to pick me up from the airport. She took me to yoga. She helped me identify and nurture an injury that I’m dealing with. She introduced me to her loved ones. She showed me her process. She was patient, funny, cute, and understanding. We had a lot of laughs, we ate together, shopped together, got naked together, and sparked a creative energy in one another.
